With the meteoric rise in streaming popularity of Suits, this past year and the announcement of a new spinoff show called Suits: L.A., there’s no denying the magnetism of high quality casting, script writing and of course the impeccable wardrobe designers.

We recently binged the entire series and despite being totally hooked to the plot line and characters, we were also obsessed with the execution of each character’s wardrobe choices. Each character’s style was different, but still represented a modern, professional style that commands the room.

Whether you’re looking for style inspiration from the exemplary Jessica Pearson or classic look from Rachel Zane (played by Meaghan Markle), we’ve curated 5 of the top looks from Suits’ leading ladies. We guarantee these outfits will give you the confidence to make power moves in and outside of the office.

Women of Suits Outfit Ideas

1. Rachel Zane

Rachel Zane, played by Meghan Markle, wore a simple, yet youthful professional wardrobe throughout her time on the show. It was marked with lace fabric, pencil skirts and perfectly hemmed button downs.

We personally loved all her outfits on Suits. They are so timeless, modest and the perfect attire for the office.

To recreate a similar look, pair a light-colored pencil skirt with a fitted top. Compelte the look with some pointed toe shoes and a thin banded watch.

2. Jessica Pearson

Jessica Pearson, played by Gina Torres, was a the ultimate girl boss who slayed the professional office fashion game. We were always so stunned at how beautiful her clothing choices made such a powerful statement. Not to mention her best accessory: her captivating presence and confidence.

If you’re wanting to create an office wardrobe based off her style, look for dramatic, high necklines in clothing, powerful suit and skirt sets, and a large sturdy hand bag.

3. Donna Paulsen

Donna Paulsen, played by Sarah Rafferty, was the office know-how on everybody and everything at all times. Her style was defined by more simple silhouettes and dresses, pointed heels and a complimentary designer handbag.

We recreated a look that we think Donna Paulson would wear to the office nowadays. We paired a simple structured pencil dress with some pointed toe pumps and Rebecca Minkoff tote bag.

4. Samantha Wheeler

Samantha Wheeler, Played by Katherine Heigl, was introduced the last couple seasons of the show, but she proved a very dominant, rough-around-the-edges approach to her character’s personality.

Her wardrobe represented that personality, with a feminine touch — denoted by dresses with V or square neck lines, pencil skirts and long statement necklaces.

To recreate a look that Samantha could wear in the show, we paired a stunning mock neck, burgundy dress, a thick belt, a statement pendant necklace, and some pointed toe heels.

5. Katrina Bennett

Katrina Bennett, played by Amanda Shull, proved to play a crucial roll in the show — earning her spot as partner in the firm as the series came to an end. Her loyal character was reflected in her classic, girly wardrobe. She often wore collar dresses, cardigans and pencil skirts.

To recreate her style for the office, we recommend pairing a tailored, geometric cardigan, long pencil skirt, pointed-toe heels and a silver watch. We love how simple, yet sophisticated this look is.
