  • Total Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 sourdough boule
  • 2 tbsp burrata cheese
  • 5 slices fresh peaches (add more to your liking)
  • fresh basil leaves

Hot Honey

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 tbsp chile flakes
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Start by making your hot honey. In a small saucepan add honey, chile flakes, water, salt, cinnamon. Warm saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow to bubble for a couple minutes and take off the heat.
  2. Slice a thick slice of sourdough from your boule. Be generous!
  3. Toast your bread in a toaster or on the stovetop. If you choose to toast on stove top, spread a thin layer of butter on both sides of your sourdough slice. Toast until browned on both sides
  4. Assemble your toast. Split open your buratta ball and scoop 2 Tbsp onto your toast. Spread a layer on top. Top with fresh peach slices, drizzle of your hot honey and basil leaves. Enjoy!

Notes

Note: If making for a crowd on small baguette slices, spread a thin layer of burrata, top with one slice of peach, a drizzle of hot honey and one basil leaf!
