- 1 sourdough boule
- 2 tbsp burrata cheese
- 5 slices fresh peaches (add more to your liking)
- fresh basil leaves
Hot Honey
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 tbsp chile flakes
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Start by making your hot honey. In a small saucepan add honey, chile flakes, water, salt, cinnamon. Warm saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow to bubble for a couple minutes and take off the heat.
- Slice a thick slice of sourdough from your boule. Be generous!
- Toast your bread in a toaster or on the stovetop. If you choose to toast on stove top, spread a thin layer of butter on both sides of your sourdough slice. Toast until browned on both sides
- Assemble your toast. Split open your buratta ball and scoop 2 Tbsp onto your toast. Spread a layer on top. Top with fresh peach slices, drizzle of your hot honey and basil leaves. Enjoy!
Notes
Note: If making for a crowd on small baguette slices, spread a thin layer of burrata, top with one slice of peach, a drizzle of hot honey and one basil leaf!
