This post is all about the copycat Starbucks violet drink. This tastes better than the drink you get at Starbucks!
The violet drink is the perfect berry tea beverage for spring! We would have to say that I am not someone to choose a berry flavored tea as a first pick, however we have found ourselves swinging by Starbucks at least once a week to pick this up. It’s THAT GOOD!!
We have been seeing the TikTok trend of adding sweet cold foam to this drink which definitely elevates the drink to the next level of goodness. WE HAD TO TRY!

What is Starbucks Violet Drink?
You may be wondering what Starbucks’ Violet drink is. If you. haven’t heard of it or tried it, its a creamy mixed berry drink that’s perfect for a warm spring and summer day. Starbucks uses a mixed berry powder and dried fruit to create the base of the drink. Then they add creamy coconut milk to make the creamy flavor and consistency.
What’s in the drink?
Starbuck’s Very Berry Hibiscus Powder: You can buy this online or find it at your local Walmart or Target. All you do is mix one packet of this powder with cold water and you have a berry refresher.
Coconut Milk: This alternative milk creates a creamy flavor and is a perfect balance with the fruity flavor of the refresher.
How to Make Homemade Sweet Cream
Sweet Cream can be made in minutes at home. It’s made of three simple ingredients, which include: almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla.
This tastes so delicious on this copycat Starbucks violet drink, on iced coffee, or on an iced matcha.
Pro tip: To get the perfect consistency of the cold foam, heavy whipping cream will work best. If you do not have heavy whipping cream, whole milk or a milk alternative, such as almond milk, will work well too. We used almond milk in this recipe and the consistency was similar.
Having an electric milk frother is probably essential to achieve the desired consistency. I have tried this with an electric mixer and whisk attachment and can’t seem to get that signature sweet cold foam texture that Starbucks in known for.
