We are obsessed with iced coconut coffee. Think Vietnamese Coconut coffee, but with a healthy twist! It’s so refreshing to drink and the coconut and coffee blend so well for a tropical tastebud experience.

Ever since we got our Smeg Espresso machine several years ago, we have loved experimenting and creating different coffee drinks at home.

If you don’t have an espresso machine, don’t worry! We know not everyone has an espresso machine. We will tell you how you can make the iced coconut latte with whatever coffee machine you are working with!

Ingredients for Your Iced Coconut Coffee:

Espresso: We always love to find high-quality espresso. We love Stumptown Coffee Roasters. They make delicious blends of coffee and are reasonably priced.

Coconut Milk: This creamy alternative milk is what gives this coffee its coconut flavor.

Vanilla: We like adding vanilla flavor to our coffee, because it adds more depth and a delicious flavor to the coffee.

Honey: You of course need a little bit of sweetness to your iced coconut coffee, and honey is one of our favorite ways to add it. Since this recipe doesn’t have sweetened condensed milk in it, we wanted to make sure the bitterness of the coffee was balanced by some sweetness.

Iced Coconut Coffee Recipe

Description

A super simple, refreshing iced coconut coffee. This drink is the best summer coffee recipe and is filled with coconut flavor and the perfect hint of sweetness.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 shots espresso ((if you don’t have an espresso machine: 46 oz of strongly brewed coffee))
  • 1 cup ice
  • 8 oz unsweetened coconut milk beverage
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla


Instructions

  1. Before you brew your espresso, drizzle honey and vanilla in the bottom of your glass.
  2. Brew your espresso. For this recipe, I like a stronger coffee flavor, so I add two shots. If you are using brewed coffee, make a strong brew of about 4-6 oz.
  3. Using a spoon, stir the espresso honey mixture.
  4. Add ice to cup and pour in coconut milk.
  5. Stir with straw and enjoy!!
