Pizza Charcuterie Board. This board is made of thin crust pizza, cheese baguettes, crackers, white cheddar slices, fresh vegetables and red pepper hummus.
Growing up and entertaining kids or large groups of people, pizza was always the go-to food to order. All you had to do was order several boxes of pizzas and just about everyone was satisfied.
As much as we love ordering pizza, our high maintenance, Martha Stewart entertainment personality comes through and we just can’t make ourselves serve pizza from a cardboard box. That’s when we got the idea of making a pizza charcuterie board.
We are seriously obsessed with how this board turned out. It’s perfect for when you are entertaining friends, family or throwing a party for kids. Not to mention, it only takes less than 5 minutes to assemble.
Surprisingly enough, we couldn’t find anyone that created a pizza charcuterie board on Pinterest or Google, so we thought we would be one of the first to introduce you to the absolute best pizza charcuterie board on the internet!
This post is all about the best pizza charcuterie board.
The Absolute Best Pizza Charcuterie Board
What’s on the Pizza Charcuterie Board
Thin Crust Pizza: This is the star of the board. You can either order thin crust pizza from your favorite pizza shop, or buy frozen pizza from the store. The key to making this pizza a stackable size is to cut it into small squares.
Cheese Baguette: We thought cheese baguettes were the perfect addition to this board, because it reminded us of a traditional appetizer at a pizza restaurant.
Naan Crackers: These crackers are buttery and crispy and pair perfectly with he white cheddar cheese on the board.
White Cheddar Slices: Pair these cheese slices with the naan crackers or vegetables on the plate. The sharp cheddar flavor cuts through and is so delicious.
Baby Carrots: Since there are a lot of “bread-y” foods on the board, we thought adding fresh vegetables would be a great addition. These are perfect for dipping the the red pepper hummus.
Mini Bell Peppers: We sliced the mini bell peppers to dip into the red pepper hummus as well.
Red Pepper Hummus: We know hummus isn’t an Italian addition, but it’s the perfect snacking food and the red pepper flavor pairs very well with the red sauce pizza and bell peppers on the board.
Grapes: To add a bit of sweetness to the board, we added some grapes to snack on. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and salty too.
How to Make Your Pizza Charcuterie Board
First, prepare and slice the food. Slice the pizza into square, bite-size pieces. Slice the cheese baguettes into 1 inch pieces. Then slice the cheese and mini bell peppers.
Second, transfer the hummus to a small serving bowl. Add the hummus to the side of the board. Add a bunch of grapes to the board as well.
Next, layer in your pizza slices, baguette pieces, crackers, and cheese on the board.
In the empty spaces, left on the board, add your baby carrots and peppers.
