We love an excuse to celebrate any holiday, even if it is a smaller holiday like St. Patrick’s Day! Our love for celebrating the smaller holidays comes from our Mom. Growing up, our mom was a very busy working mom but always made a point to celebrate the little holidays. A lot of times, she would put together festive breakfasts before we left for school. It always made us giggle and funny enough, those memories have stuck with us throughout the years.
Now, we are young adults, living with roommates. But, we are still kids at heart (aren’t we all?!) and still love to make smaller holiday’s special. St. Patrick’s day is no exception! We love these Over the Rainbow Cinnamon Rolls mainly because they are so fun but also because they are SO easy to make.

Find your pot of gold with these adorable Over the Rainbow Cinnamon Rolls!! This breakfast is so simple. Kids will love this too, because it’s fun and festive. But let’s be honest, we love a good excuse to use some sprinkles and eat a cinnamon roll or two!
All you need is a can of Immaculate Baking Company cinnamon rolls , a round 9 inch pan, green food coloring and rainbow sprinkles.
We started by greasing the pan with some butter, placing the cinnamon rolls in the pan, and placing them in the oven.
When the cinnamon rolls are in the oven, start by placing a couple drops of green food coloring into the icing can, found in the cinnamon roll container. Stir and see if the icing is bright enough. Add a couple drops at a time until you reach a bright green color!
Once, the rolls are cooked, allow them to cool for 5-10 minutes, and then pour the green icing over the top of the rolls. Spread icing around with a knife until all rolls are covered in green icing.
Now it’s time for the best part! If you have kids, get them involved in this part! Sprinkle your rainbow sprinkles over the cinnamon rolls and ENJOY!

Everyone will enjoy these fun, festive St. Patrick's Day cinnamon rolls, topped with green icing and rainbow sprinkles!
Ingredients
- 1 can Immaculate Baking Company Cinnamon Rolls
- 4–5 drops green gel food coloring
- rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook the cinnamon rolls as directed on the package and set the icing container to the side.
- While the cinnamon rolls are in the oven, add 4-5 drops of green food coloring into the icing container. Mix the food coloring into the icing until there are no white streaks left in the icing.
- Take the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and let them cool for 5-10 mins. After they have finished cooling, spread the icing on top of the cinnamon rolls.
- To top it off, add rainbow sprinkles to the cinnamon rolls.
