We love a good DIY project and we recently did this in our own apartment. We moved into an apartment with an office space. The office space had no windows, so we were trying to think of the best ways to brighten up the space and bring more life to the room.
We bought a $15 table on Facebook Marketplace, painted it white with chalk paint and placed it in the room. Not only did we repurpose the dark wood table, but the transformation gave more interest to the space. The office now feels brighter and more welcoming to walk into every day.
Another great idea is painting your dark kitchen cabinets a brighter color. It’s such a simple and easy fix and will leave your kitchen feeling bigger and brighter.
Never underestimate the power of paint in your space! It can transform and revive a once dark room into a beautiful room filled with light!
