This year, we have made it one of our goals to develop our capsule wardrobe and invest in pieces that are versatile and timeless. Now that spring is here, we’re looking to give our wardrobes a little refresh.
A solid capsule wardrobe makes getting dressed so much easier and adding a few key pieces can elevate your style for the season. Think light white tops, lace, oversized button-downs, denim, and a moment for some trendier spring pieces.
Whether you’re looking to refresh your entire closet or find a few pieces to add to the mix, these are the must-have pieces to add to your spring capsule wardrobe this season.

What is a Capsule Wardrobe?
A capsule wardrobe consists of pieces (pants, jeans, tops, sweaters, shoes, etc) that you can mix and match to create many different looks. It’s all about creating a designated color palette to make all the pieces work together.
Often people choose a more neutral color palette because they can wear these pieces to pretty much any event or occasion.
However, if you love having color in your wardrobe, you can tailor your color palette to one that includes more vibrant color tones.

- Light Outerwear: Think light jackets and cardigans for spring. It’s nice to have layering options for cool mornings and evenings and warmer afternoons.
- Lifestyle Sneakers: Whether you go for a neutral, white sneaker or a colorful lifestyle sneaker, they are so reliable and perfect for styling cute, casual outfits.
The Season’s Fashion Trends
- Cropped Trench Coats: We’re obsessed with the cropped trench coat trend this spring. It’s the perfect, lightweight jacket to wear and elevate any look.
- Butter Yellow: Butter yellow has come back in waves this year. We’re seeing it in just about every collection.
- Powder Pink: Another gorgeous color for spring is powder pink. We love this subtle pink color and think it’s such a sweet addition to your capsule wardrobe.
- Sky Blue: We always gravitate towards blue this time of year, and sky blue is such a serene and happy color for spring.
- Kermit Green: Kermit green was popular in the fall, but it’s now made its way to spring in a fresh, colorful way.
