How to Make Marry Me Shrimp, Step By Step
Step 1: Cook and season shrimp.
In a skillet over medium heat, start cooking your shrimp. Add some olive oil to the pan, pour in frozen shrimp and season with a little bit of paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Although the sauce is packed with flavor, seasoning the shrimp as it cooks will give the shrimp a little boost of flavor.
Once the shrimp is cooked through, scoop the shrimp into a bowl and set it to the side to mix in the sauce later.

Step 2: Make Marry Me Sauce.
The sauce is the star of the show!
Start by heating a skillet over medium heat on the stove. Add butter to the pan and melt before stirring in tomato paste. Toss in garlic and some red pepper flakes and stir until fragrant.
Next, you will add some flour to slightly thicken the sauce. The marry me chicken sauce will seem thick at this point, so you will next add in your cream and chicken broth. You’ll also add in shredded parmesan cheese and stir until everything is smooth and blended together.
Sprinkle some fresh oregano and stir it into the sauce until it becomes fragrant. This is where the sauce starts to smell so warm and cozy!
Lastly, you will stir in sun-dried tomatoes. Don’t miss this step because the sun-dried tomatoes add a strong punch of tomato flavor that this sauce needs.
Step 3: Add shrimp to the sauce, simmer for a couple of minutes, and serve.
Stir and let the sauce simmer and bubble for a minute or two before tossing in the seasoned shrimp. Toss to coat shrimp in the sauce and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes so that the shrimp warms in the sauce before serving.
