We thought it would be fun to start a new blog series called “Choose Your Style”, where we choose a room and show you how you can style it 4 different ways based on different design styles.
We wanted to start off the series with a room that we use the most…the living room. When designing living rooms, we always want to make them beautiful, cozy and a reflection of our client’s personal design.
We completely understand the struggle of knowing what you like, but not knowing how to put all the right pieces, colors and textures together. It can get overwhelming at times, but hopefully this series can help you identify a style you love and inspire you to create the design in your own space!

What is modern traditional design style?
Modern traditional design style is a combination of modern elements mixed with more traditional or vintage elements. This is one of our favorite design styles, because it’s so classic and will last throughout time.
Some common elements in modern traditional style are:

- Mixing old and new decor items together
- Light, neutral colors
- Layers of cozy textures

We love taking a modern design and making it feel cozier…hence why we named this design style cozy modern. This our attempt to stay true to modern style, but add cozier elements to make it a warm and inviting living room.
