Description
This decadent rich cookie butter latte is to die for! The base of this drink is a chai tea latte and has flavors added to give that cookie butter flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 oz chai tea latte concentrate
- 6 oz milk/milk alternative
- 1 cup ice
Needing Extra Caffeine
- 1 shot espresso ((or 1/4 cup of strongly brewed coffee))
Instructions
- Make the brown sugar syrup. Add a 1:1 ratio of brown sugar and water in a pan over medium heat. Heat just until the sugar and water are dissolved and a thin syrup is formed.
- Build your latte. Add in in layers. At the bottom of your cup, add your syrup, cup of ice, then chai tea concentrate, and milk on top.
- Stir together with a straw and enjoy!
Notes
Make it a dirty chai latte base: If you are needed an extra caffeine kick, feel free to add a shot of espresso or a ¼ cup of strongly brewed coffee to the chai tea mix.
Left over brown sugar syrup? You can store left-over syrup in an airtight container to use as sweetener for future lattes! 🙂
