Making the Best Monster Cookies
Cream Butter and Sugars
Creaming butter really just means to mix on a high speed until it is thick and creamy. You want to start by mixing cold butter on high speed until it is creamy. After the butter is creamy, you will add in your sugars and mix until creamy.
Once the butter and sugars are smooth and creamed together, you want to add in your eggs and vanilla extract until combined. Next, you will start to slowly add in your dry ingredients
Add in Dry Ingredients
Turn your mixer onto low-speed to mix in the dry ingredients. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one-third portions at a time. This will help to incorporate the dry ingredients smoothly.
You want to make sure that you do not over-mix the dry ingredients so that the dough does not get tough. But do remember that this dough will be thicker once all the flour is added in!
Mix in the candy, chill and cook
There’s a lot of yummy goodies in these monster cookies! Once your dough is mixed together, add in the candy, pretzels and mini chocolate creme cookies to the batter and blend just until mixed! Scoop the dough onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheet and chill for 30 minutes. This will help the cookies from spreading out and keep their form.
After the dough is chilled place in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown on the edges. Remove and let them cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
