- 1 cup butter (melted)
- 1 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs + 1 yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbps matcha powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 and line 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs, egg yolk, vanilla. Stir to combine. Once combined, add matcha powder to egg mixture until combined.
- Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Spread batter into the bottom of the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes (length will vary depending on how you like your brownies baked or how your oven bakes).
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Cut into squares ad enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee!
