16 Fun Spring Hobbies
1. Gardening

Spring is the official kickstart to the gardening season. Whether it’s painting fresh flowers in your flowerbeds and flower pots or starting a vegetable and fruit garden — it’s always so fun and exciting to plant new things.
No matter how big or small the garden, tending to it and taking care of it is such a fun activity this time of year.
Pro tip: One of our favorite areas of our garden to refresh this time of year is the herb garden. It’s something you can have in an apartment in a small pot or in a planter in the backyard of your home.
2. Start a Running Club
If you’ve been inspired to start running, but don’t want to do it alone, starting a running club is a great idea. Ask around and see if some of your friends would like to join you. Extend the invitation even more by asking your friends to ask others they think would be interested. It’s always so much more fun when there’s a group in it together.
3. Hiking

Grab your hiking boots (or tennis shoes) and feel the power of nature all around you as you go on a hike. Even if you don’t live in an area with hiking trails, see if there are any local walking trails or small nature preserves you can venture too.

In the spring we love baking treats for other people — recipes like banana pudding, cookies, and carrot cake muffins.
6. Flower Arrangements
There’s nothing quite like a beautiful floral arrangement on a kitchen counter, desk or coffee table that makes a room feel bright and cheerful during the spring season. Practicing making your own floral arrangements in your home is a great way to master the craft. You could even make some to give to neighbors or friends too.
If you’re wondering where to find gorgeous flowers for a cheaper price, our go-to is always Trader Joe’s. They always have in-season flowers that last a week or two.

As the weather gets warmer, we begin to crave ice cream even more as a treat. One kitchen appliance we invested in last year was the Ninja Creami and we can attest that it is one of our favorite appliances ever bought. We can make any flavor of ice cream we’d like and it makes a pint at a time.

15. Join a New Gym of Workout Program
One thing about us is that we change up our types of workouts every several months. We’ve recently subscribed to Tracy Anderson Method workout program and have been absolutely loving the change. Trying a different type of workout is a great way for us to challenge ourselves and introduce our bodies to a different form of movement.
We’ve done everything from the Kayla Sweat App to taking classes at Barre 3, Equinox and Pilates gyms. If your current workout routine isn’t motivating you, maybe it’s time to switch things up. Classpass is great way to try out new gyms and maybe find one you absolutely love.

Now there are so many different bikes to choose from: mountain bikes, trail bikes, road bikes, electric bikes. However you choose to bike, it’s all about taking advantage of the amazing spring weather — there’s nothing like it.
