In our search for some of the best viral TikTok drinks, a cookie butter latte was popping up all over the place. We were so curious to try to recreate this to see if it tasted like the beloved cookie butter from Trader Joes. If you have ever had cookie butter from Trader Joes you know how good the flavors are! If you haven’t, think of the rich flavors of a Biscoff cookie! This drink blends the flavors of that cookie into a decadent drink that will keep you sipping till the last drop!!

What’s in the cookie butter latte?

Brown sugar: This is what gives the latte the rich buttery cookie taste that you expect with cookie butter.

Chai Latte concentrate: We love using chai latte concentrate as the base for lattes. For the cookie butter latte, the concentrate adds a warm, spice flavor and is the base of this drink.

Alternative Milk: We prefer using almond milk or oat milk for this recipe. Feel free to use whole milk or 2% milk if you would like!

Recipe Notes:

Make it a dirty chai latte base: If you are needed an extra caffeine kick, feel free to add a shot of espresso or a ¼ cup of strongly brewed coffee to the chai tea mix. The base of this drink is a tea latte and has flavors added to give that cookie butter flavor. It has notes of ginger, vanilla with the added creaminess of the cold foam. If you are needed an extra caffeine kick, feel free to add a shot of espresso or a ¼ cup of strongly brewed coffee to the chai tea mix.

Left over brown sugar syrup? You can store left-over syrup in an airtight container to use as sweetener for future lattes! 🙂

Want this latte hot? Don’t add the ice and steam your milk before adding it to your mug!
