- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
- 3 cups unbleached, all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups Christmas M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper. Gather a large bowl and a medium bowl for this recipe.
- *Use your large bowl* With a hand or stand mixer, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together. Mix for about 1minute until the mixture is smooth. Beat eggs and vanilla into the mixture until just combined.
- In a medium bowl whisk flour, baking soda, salt and pudding mix until combined.
- Add the dry mixture a little at a time into the wet ingredients. Mix until the dough is just formed.
- Using a wooden spoon, mix holiday M&Ms into the dough. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Press a few M&Ms on top of the dough balls.
- Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow them to set on the pan for 3-5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack or plate to cool.
- Enjoy warm with a hot cup of cocoa, tea or coffee!
