How to Make the Mediterranean Mezze Board
We literally follow the same formula every time we make a charcuterie board or snack board. It makes the process so simple and creates beautiful boards even single time!
1. Start with the Contained Items
We always start by placing the contained items first. In this case, that’s the dipping oil, hummus, and olives. All these items are in small bowls which is why we call them “contained items:. We placed each of these in spots around the board.
2. Place your Larger Food Items Next
Following the contained items, we recommend placing all your larger food items on the board. These are any items that will fill a significant space on the board. For this easy mediterranean mezzo board, that’s the pita bread triangles. Place them on each side of the board so your guests can reach them no matter where they are sitting.
3. Fill in With Your Smaller Food Items
Since a majority of this board is smaller food items, the board will start coming together pretty quickly. It doesn’t matter what food you start with. The design of the board is up to you!
Fill in the rest of the board with the baby carrots, celery sticks, tomatoes, mini cucumber slices, bel pepper slices, clementines and salami slices.
Lastly, share this easy mediterranean mezzo board with your friends and family and enjoy!
