Description

A chocolate-peanut butter lovers dream dessert and the easiest holiday candy anyone could make.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham crackers (approx. 1 1/2 sleeves), crushed to a fine dust
  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with parchment paper and set to the side.
  2. Add graham crackers to a food processor and blend until the crackers make a fine dust. *If you don’t have a food processor, put the graham crackers in a gallon size plastic bag, seal and crush with a rolling pin until the graham crackers are a fine dust.
  3. In a stand mixing bowl or medium mixing bowl, add peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, and graham cracker dust. Mix until combined and the mixture comes together. Add the crushed pretzels to the peanut butter mixture and mix in.
  4. Transfer the peanut butter mixture to the prepared baking pan. Spread and press the peanut butter layering into an even layer.
  5. In a small sauce pan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread into an even layer over the top.
  6. Top with holiday sprinkles or your topping of choice (see more recommended toppings above). Place the bars in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Slice into rectangles, squares or triangles and serve!
