Description
Asian-inspired spiced ginger chicken wings coated in a super savory miso yuzu sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onions.
Ingredients

1/2 cup miso paste
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup yuzu soda (can sub with a ginger lemon olipop soda or just add a bit of lemon zest
2 lbs chicken wings
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp baking powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together miso glaze ingredients. Pour into a skillet and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until thickened.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove chicken wings from package and pat dry with paper towel until wings are completely dry.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, garlic powder, ginger, pepper and baking powder. Sprinkle over wings and toss or rub into chicken to coat all pieces evenly.
- Lay wings in a single layer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Place in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes until cooked through to 165°F.
- Remove from the oven and let the wings cool for 5 minutes.
- Place the wings in the sauce one by one to evenly coat and place on serving plat.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions, sesame seeds and lime zest.
