Description
Each bite-sized sandwich is filled with juicy Marry Me Chicken, melted Monterey Jack cheese, and brushed with an herby butter.

- 2 packages of hawiaan rolls
- 1 rotisserie chicken
- 16 oz sliced monterry jack cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp thyme
Marry Me Chicken Sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp thyme
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup parmesan
- 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes
Instructions
- Remove meat from rotisserie chicken and pull apart into shreds.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Stir in tomato paste, garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir until fragrant. Add in and 1 tbsp flour and stir for 1-2 minutes. Add fresh oregano and thyme and stir until fragrant.
- Whisk in heavy cream, chicken broth and parmesan. Stir until the cheese has melted. Lastly add sun-dried tomatoes and let the sauce simmer for several minutes. Toss in shredded chicken simmer on low for 5-7 minutes to thicken.
- Make sandwiches. Slice Hawaiian rolls, add a dollop of chicken and half a slice of monetary jack cheese. Repeat with the rest of the rolls and line the sandwiches in baking pan.
- Melt 1 stick of butter. Stir in fresh oregano and thyme. Brush the top of rolls with herby butter and soak for 30 minutes-1 hour.
- While the sliders are soaking, preheat oven to 350ºF. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until tops of sandwiches are browned.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
