Description

Gingerbread Latte Syrup makes a delicious Gingerbread Latte for the holiday season.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup water

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup molasses

1/4 cup ginger (peeled and chopped)

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp whole cloves

1/2 tsp all spice

1 tsp vanilla


Instructions

  1. Add water, brown sugar, white sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and all spice in a pot and bring to a boil. Stirring as the sugar dissolves. Once it’s boiling and the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  2. Let the syrup steep for 15 minutes. Using a fine strainer, strain the syrup from the whole spices.
  3. Transfer the syrup to a jar and enjoy in a hot latte or vanilla tea.
