Description
This yummy acaí bowl can be topped with granola and your favorite fruit. And by adding less liquid to the smoothie, it creates a thicker soft-serve-like texture that makes for a perfect treat!
Ingredients
- 1 packet frozen acaí (or scoop of acai powder)
- 1 1/2 frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 tbsp nut butter
- 1/4–1/2 cup almond milk (Alt: milk or other milk alternatives)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour in a cup and enjoy!
Notes
Tip for making bowls: I find that using a higher quality blender (such as a Vita-mix) are better for making the thick consistency desired for smoothie bowls. Instead of adding 1 cup of milk, add about a ¼ cup of milk to begin and pulse the blender about 20 times. The ingredients should start to slowly come together. After pulsing the mixture, puree until blended smooth and thick.
