This Healthy Chocolate Coffee Banana Smoothie will give you that extra boost you need throughout the day. A little bit of caffeine and a whole lot of nutrition blended in this smoothie.

- 1 1/2 frozen bananas
- 1 shot chilled espresso
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 cup almond milk (Alt: milk or other milk alternative)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour in a cup and enjoy!
Notes
Protein powder used: We used Ancient Nutrition in this recipe, which has a good flavor and creates a great whipped consistency.
Alternative to an espresso shot: Add a 1/2 cup of coffee chilled brewed coffee.
