Description
Like a hot chocolate shake! Super chocolatey blend of frozen homemade hot chocolate cubes, topped with a a light vanilla whipped cream and drizzled with a super easy homemade magic shell chocolate sauce.
Ingredients

2 cups chocolate milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
Homemade Whipped Cream
2 cups whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla
Homemade Chocolate Shell Sauce
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Pour chocolate milk, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt into a blender. Blend to mix and pour in ice cube trays. Place in freezer to freeze for 3-4 hours until completely frozen.
- About 15 minutes before you want to blend up your frozen hot chocolate, make your homemade whipped cream and chocolate shell syrup.
- Whipping cream: Pour heavy cream into an electric mixer with a whisk attachment. Blend on high for 3-4 minutes until soft peaks form.
- Chocolate shell syrup: In a small pot over medium heat, Add chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir consistently until chocolate is smooth. Remove from heat as soon as it is melted. Let it cool for about 5 minutes.
- After the cubes have frozen, pour hot chocolate ice cubes into a blender with 1 cup milk and blend until a creamy consistency.
- Drizzle chocolate on the inside walls of your cup if you like extra chocolate shell. Pour frozen hot chocolate into cups. Top with whipped cream and extra chocolate sauce and enjoy!
