Description
These wings are coated in a flavorful seasoning before being baked until crispy. And when they’re hot out of the oven, they’re brushed with a hot honey glaze.

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Hot Honey Glaze
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 2–3 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, S&P.
- Pat chicken dry. Toss in the flour mixture and line the wings on a baking sheet.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping over, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
- While the chicken is cooking, whisk together the honey glaze ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Pour the glaze mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and brush glaze over one side of the chicken. Flip to coat the other side.
- Immediately brush with an additional layer of glaze.
- Plate the wings and sprinkle with chili flakes or parsley for a garnish.
