Funfetti Birthday Cake Protein Balls
What’s in this recipe?
Almond Flour: You may be wondering why we added almond flour to these protein balls instead of oats. The almond flour adds structure to the protein balls and doesn’t take away from the flavor or texture.
Cookie Dough Protein Powder: We are obsessed with this cookie dough protein powder from Tropeaka, but you can also buy this brand as well. This flavor of protein powder adds such a delicious flavor to the protein balls.
Almond butter: Almond butter adds such a great flavor to these protein balls. Feel free to use cashew butter or sunflower butter for this recipe as well. (Note: peanut butter will most likely overpower the taste of the protein powder so we recommend using a blander nut butter)
Honey: This adds a bit of sweetness to the protein balls.
Almond Milk: Without the addition of almond milk, these protein balls would be too dry. You want to add enough so the protein ball mixture is a little sticky but not at all dry.
White Chocolate Chips: We added white chocolate chips to these protein balls for a sweet addition to the bites.
Rainbow Sprinkles: These protein bites wouldn’t be funfetti without the addition of rainbow sprinkles!
How to Make the Protein Balls
These protein balls are super easy to make. They seriously only take about 5 minutes to whip up as a snack!
All you have to do is mix all the ingredients together until they are fully combined. Then, roll the protein ball batter into 6-8 round bites and refrigerate.
