Fall is my absolute favorite season to host friends. From the cozy candlelit table settings to the delicious soul-warming food, there’s something to behold about this time of year, and gatherings with friends — no matter the size or occasion — are always so special.

When I’m hosting friends over, I always plan the menu first. Knowing what I’m going to serve is top priority, and then I let everything else fall into place around it. Since indoor home gatherings are more frequent this time of year, finger foods make planning so much easier. With a variety of choices to choose from, you know there’s always going to be something someone will want to eat.

Slider sandwiches are super easy to make and pop in the oven. Everyone loves them, and they always come back for seconds and thirds. This is our twist on the classic hand and cheese sliders. We made them “Marry Me Chicken” flavored.

These buttery, baked sliders are about to become your new comfort food obsession!! Each bite-sized sandwich is filled with juicy Marry Me Chicken, melted Monterey Jack cheese, and brushed with an herby butter. 

2. Cinnamon Apple Sheet Pan Nachos

If you’re looking for a dessert finger food recipe, this one is super simple and perfect for fall. 

Apple pie meets nachos! This sweet twist on sheet pan nachos starts with crispy cinnamon sugar pita chips, gets loaded with caramelized apples, and is finished off with dollops of creamy whipped cream cheese dip. This super simple dish is going to become your go-to appetizer for gatherings! Baked layers of crispy tortilla chips, cheddar cheese, spicy meat, and topped with fresh pico de gallo and guacamole.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I have never been a huge fan of barbecue. However, I love this asian-fusion twist on a chicken wing. It’s super simple to make, and your guests will absolutely love them too.

These asian-inspired spiced ginger chicken wings are coated in a super savory miso yuzu sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onions. They are “finger-licking good” and will keep you coming back for more!

Taquitos have been a staple finger food for parties when I was growing up in Texas. It’s always hard to pass them up, because they are so easy to make, and people go crazy when you serve them at parties. Serve these at your next fall tailgate party or dinner party at home.

I make this roasted tomato spinach artichoke dip for almost every fall and holiday party. It’s eaten up so quickly, and everyone always asks me for the recipe. You can never go wrong with a hot, cheesy dip — it’s so delectable.

A baked blend of creamy cheeses, sautéed spinach, tomatoes, finely sliced shallots, and garlic, cooked in a pan to make a delicious hot dip.

We’re all about making things easy this holiday season—especially when we have to make food for a crowd. We love making easy appetizers that’ll be ready in a matter of minutes.
