The Best Flocked Christmas Tree
When we moved into our apartment and began brainstorming how we wanted to decorate for Christmas, we knew we wanted decorations that were whimsical, neutral but had pops of blush pink and gold.
Buying a flocked Christmas tree was our top priority after seeing other people on Pinterest decorate their homes for the holidays with them. We knew for our apartment we would need a 7 ft tree and we wanted one that looked beautiful, full and as natural as possible.
We looked at Target, Walmart and other brand name stores, but found the most perfect flocked tree from At Home. They often have their trees on sale. We bought ours at their discounted price for only $72, which is as steal!
We found this one from Walmart that’s almost identical to the one we got! It’s a pre-lit tree, flocked and the perfect height for an apartment.
Cute Pink Ornaments
Our next step to making our apartment feel whimsical for the holidays was adding a set of assorted pink ornaments.
When decorating your Christmas tree, try to find a pack of ornaments that are different sizes and colors. We chose a pack of ornaments from target that were variations of pink and gold. When placed on the tree, these ornaments make it look like whimsical, Christmas dream.
We bought these pink and gold ornaments for our tree. We haven’t gotten tired of the look, because it’s such a classy and timeless arrangement. These ornaments do not come with hooks, so we’ve linked some hooks from Amazon below too!
Other Cute Vintage Ornaments
We were lucky to have been given a lot of our adorable vintage ornaments from our mom that we collected through childhood.
What’s so great about adding vintage or personal ornaments to the tree is that you can add pieces that are sentimental and hold a special memory or year in time.
Additionally, we also love the look of vintage ornaments on a tree. We searched for the cutest ones, and found the adorable and whimsical ornaments below.
Glowing Ball Christmas Tree Lights
After setting up our Christmas tree for the first time in our apartment, we realized that it looked a little flat. We wanted to add some more dimension and visual interest to the tree to make it stand out.
Here’s the hack to making your Christmas tree look more textured and whimsical…just add glowing ball lights around your tree.
We wrapped these glowing ball lights from Amazon around our tree and are so obsessed with how the much it adds to the look of the tree!
Pink Christmas Coffee Table Decor
This year, we decided to go above and beyond and add some Christmas coffee table decorations to our living room. We thought it would tie in beautifully with the blush pink decorations on the tree.

Other Whimsical Christmas Decorations We Love
To complete our living room, we wrapped a cozy cream blanket around the base of our tree and added a couple of holiday decorations to our TV console.
Adding the final touches is our favorite part, and finding unique pieces that are timeless and beautiful is all we wished to achieve in our apartment living room.
Here are some other Christmas decorations we used to complete the look:
